A poster dedicated to my journey of learning how to drive a manual car and more about the JDM car community.
Photographed by me, my goal was to capture the creative side of many car enthusiasts and aim for an early 90’s aesthetic (the years of classic Miatas) through photography
and design composition.
NB-Miata Car interior that captures the old look and feel of a car from the 2000s. The glow of the lines in the dash guided me to envision motion or illustrative lines in the making of the poster. I wanted a lot of texture to help replicate that feeling similar to a Japanese manga.
Cars & Coffee event in Waterford, MI. The car scene has many car events, and a lot of enthusiasts come to join in a group to gather their cars around to show their unique modifications of car parts. A lot of car photography includes zooming into the modified angles and admiring the fitment and hard labor put into building their cars.
